Aurora Borealis

The powerful geomagnetic storm of May 2024 produced significantly enhanced aurora across the UK. The aurora made another appearance on the night of the 12th August, coinciding with the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. The aurora borealis are considered by many to be the Holy Grail of skywatching. I was lucky enough to capture some photographs of this stunning, spectacular display.
