Aurora Borealis

A stunning, spectacular display of the elusive aurora borealis captured from the darkness of Basketfield Lane near Glastonbury Tor. Considered by many to be the Holy Grail of skywatching, the aurora was so bright that this image was captured with an exposure of just 2.5 seconds. It is rare to witness a display of this beauty and magnitude so far south in the UK.
